India targets an increase in non-fossil fuel power generation
.
Very interesting discussion on the German global news network DW about how we (India) are aiming to boost our non fossil fuel power capacity i.e. wind energy, solar, nuclear, hydro and bio power targeting a 500 GW capacity by 2030 raising the current power from non fossil fuel sources from the current 42.3% to 50%. We believe this is very possible if every element and technology is utilized, and in no small way we believe that includes a step change in public lighting where possible replacing on grid powered lights with solar lights. And there is no need to hold back, no need to slow bringing quality public lighting to everyone in our great country because the current new generation of solar public lighting technology is here and proven. For example our Leadsun solar lights are a solid technology proven through over 350,000 installations in Australia and more in Israel and the USA (California and Florida).
If you have a public lighting or open space lighting project please contact us, we will produce a detailed lighting design and report using our Dialux CAD lighting software at no cost for your evaluation and use in your project.
